Dr. John K. Lee | General Dentist
Dr. John K. Lee is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2004. He is a recipient of the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program. He has served on two mission trips providing dental care to families in Jamaica. Dr. Lee completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois where he honed his dental skills in the areas Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery.
Dr. Lee went on to serve on the Aircraft Carrier, U.S.S. Kitty Hawk CV63 as the Dental Officer stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. During his time onboard, he provided dental care to more than 5000 sailors (ship’s company) and air wing and their pilots. Treatments of Root Canals, Crowns and Bridge, Oral Surgery, and Operatives were common due to excellent dental facilities, staff and lab technicians onboard his ship. While serving his country, Dr. Lee also acted as a Children’s Dental Health Mentor. Navy Lieutenant John K. Lee was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Navy Sea Service Ribbon, and Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon. Following his Honorable Discharge from Active Duty in 2007, Dr. Lee stayed with the U.S. Navy Reserves reporting to the Willow Grove Naval Air Station. He entered private practice in the fall of 2007 in Norristown, PA.
Currently, Dr. Lee is practicing in Lyndhurst, NJ. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) and Bergen County Dental Society. Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

When Dr. Lee is not practicing dentistry he is spending time with his wife and his two boys (Hudson and Harrison). Hopefully, his boys will join the practice in the near future!

Dr. Thomas M. Scorziello | Periodontist
Dr. Scorziello received a BA and MS degree from Rutgers University and then attended New Jersey Dental School. After dental school, Dr. Scorziello completed a one year General Practice Residency Program from Hackensack Medical Center; learning all aspects of routine dental care.
He went on to complete his Periodontal Program at New Jersey Dental School in 1997. Dr. Scorziello became board certified in 1999 and received a Master’s of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology from UMDNJ Graduate School of Biomedical Science in 2000. His thesis research was in the area of Smoking and links to Periodontal Disease.
Currently, Dr. Scorziello is in Private Practice and has been teaching part time at NJDS since completing the periodontal program. This includes regular lecturing, working with dental students and clinical research. He has lectured regularly at both the University Muenster and University of Hamburg both in Germany. Dr. Scorziello has published 3 articles in Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants. When Dr. Scorziello is not working, he enjoys outdoor activities such as jogging, walking, biking, and traveling.
